Industry Project - Street Chef
This is the street chef a baku that uses the dreams they collect to create new and interesting food for their customers, a jolly fella who thinks a good meal can solve most any problem.
Characters from my industry project, I was tasked with creating a minimum of 5 characters from an urban fantasy village with distinct roles and jobs. The cast I ended up with was a fisher, a mechanic, a street chef, a mail carrier and a treasurer. I also had to create an expression sheet based on a singular character where I chose the fisher.

Initial iterations, while i started smaller i really liked the larger body types i sketched out
I ended up combining the aspects I enjoyed from two separate iterations into the version i took forwards

Their colours took a while to figure out, as I didn't want to repeat colours id used for the other characters in this line up
I ended up going with a monochrome red/purple pallet because of their associations with hunger (and me associating purple with Baku)
